djay 2 for iPhone App Reviews

Ive enjoyed this app well beyond the price I paid for it, and with its ability to sync with my Spotify service and the few songs I have on my iTunes account, it was well worth the $10 I paid, especially since it synced to my iPad (which I find much easier to work with). If you are a casual user who loves music or if you are new to the art form of djaying, I think its definitely worth considering before you spend hundreds to thousands on equipment. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

Really if you are using something like this its while commuting and checking out how some obscure tracks mix looking for inspiration. Spotify integration scratches that itch.

I am a regular Spotify user. I have premium and I pay monthly to get music. So what Im saying is that Spotify users Who have premium should be able to record the recordings. Its unfair that just because you use a different music program you dont have the ability to record your tracks. Please fix this!!!

Auto mix is the best feature! It lets me listen to everything I have, without having to choose!

I definitely recommend it for people who love a great beat. And the automix feature is awesome because it keeps the party going. I only wish it had a way to record one session and save it to the voice memo app to listen later.

I got to my venue, set up everything and soon realized I left the power cord for my mac at home! My computer died by 10:45 and the bar closes at 3am. With Spotify Premium and DJay 2 I was able to keep the party jumping at capacity for most of the night! All the playlists and search functions work seamlessly. Nice integration, great job with this one!

I intended on getting this app because I wanted to start making mashups, theres nothing on this app that will let me record it and save it I think this app would be 10/10 if we got a update about this

A little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, it just blows your mind on how you can bust a little mix session on your phone at anytime. Beat Pad, loops, FX, cue points, Totally digging the fact that you can link your Spotify account for endless music. Also transitioning from Spotify to your own library is easy, no lag/delay. About time someone got it right!

Ive only gotten my feet wet for a few hours, but I see a lot of possibility to learn from the app and all the resources they have in their support menu! Pretty intuitive, takes some getting used to and playing around, but overall, ideal place to start if youre a beginner like me before investing in expensive DJ equipment/software. Try it out and have your mind blown! Everyone has a little DJ in them
